Melody Fay Browning

Teaching Artist

Melody Fay Browning is a NYC-based actress and teaching artist. Originally hailing from Fort Wayne, Indiana, she got her start in outreach and theatre for children, performing in touring troupes that brought educational theatre performances to children and communities with limited arts access. Melody later moved to NYC to study at NYU Tisch, pursuing her BFA in Drama at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting with minors in Applied Theatre and Producing. As an actress, she hopes to use her voice to bring truth and light to the stories she has the opportunity to tell. Through her community-engaged work as an educator and applied theatre practitioner, she aims to uplift and inspire the next generation of change makers and artists to own their stories, as she joins the fight for accessible arts education for all kids. Her practice spans into many areas including but not limited to acting, educating, producing, directing, and casting. Melody is extremely passionate about helping kiddos find their voices and confidence, and is so excited to be a part of the Treasure Trunk team!
