Sophie Schulman

Sophie is so excited to be here at Treasure Trunk! She is an actor, singer, and recent Brooklyn transplant from the Bay Area by way of Washington, DC. During the school year, she’s a substitute teacher for kids of all ages at schools throughout the city and she has also worked as a musical theater teaching artist with the 92nd Street Y, the Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble, and the Oshman Family JCC. As a performer, she has worked with The Kennedy Center, Olney Theatre Center, Snapple Theatre Center, Imagination Stage, Mosaic Theatre Company, and Adventure Theatre, among others, and has been lucky enough to perform for many young audiences, including while originating the role of Sal in the musical adaptation of Blueberries for Sal. When she’s not performing or teaching, she loves reading, baking, and absurdly long walks.
